Joanne "Joni"M. (Clowry/Davis) Kidd
Joanne "Joni" M. (Clowry/Davis) Kidd, age 80, of Green Bay (formerly of Minocqua), passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born May 15, 1935 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Lawrence, Sr. and Cecil (DeVolder) Clowry and graduated from Green Bay West High School.
Joni married Robert Kidd, February 19, 1983 in Green Bay and together they shared 30 years of marriage before he passed away in 2013. Joni worked as a clerk for C&NW Railroad, she also maintained a second job as a hostess in order to provide for herself and her children. She was a very hard worker and worked part time till she was 70. Joni and Bob had spent the last 30 years living in Minocqua, WI. They also loved to spend their winters in St. Augustine, Florida where she would relax on the beach while Bob fished. She was a tough little Irish woman devoted to her family and her faith. One of her famous sayings as she entered a room was "Never Fear Joni's Here!!"
Joni is survived by her children: Dan (Jeanne) Davis, Debbie (Fred) Phelps, Jim (Francine) Davis, Tony (Lola) Davis and Joe (Vicki) Davis; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Joni is also survived by her step children: Debra Kidd, Jay (Deanne) Ki
