    Princess Punzalan is an an actor based in Los Angeles. She is a native of the Philippines, and a respected actor in the local and international entertainment industry with more than 800 appearances in television, film, and radio since she started acting at the age of ten. She has performed numerous roles doing drama, comedy, action, and fantasy but is best known for her iconic “contravida” role as the evil Selina in the ABS-CBN drama series “Mula Sa Puso,” for which she won PMPC’s Best Actress in a Drama Series.

     

    Princess is the daughter of Philippine broadcasting legends Helen Vela and Orly Punzalan. As a young actor she starred in “Princess,” her own weekly TV drama anthology. After the passing of her mother she produced, hosted, and acted in the weekly drama “Lovingly Yours” for four years and the weekly sitcom, "Family 3 +1" for two years while also appearing in other television series. Critically acclaimed film performances include her performances in “Kung Tapos Na Ang Kailanman” and “Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal” of which garnered her nominations for Best Actress, and Supporting Actress.
